sucks that my initial reaction to learning there are more local peeps around me than I thought from the furry artist scene is to feel unworthy and get depressed and not want to go out ever again, worm
i think it’s because i’ve gone my whole life (halfheartedly) thinking I was the only furry artist in el paso until like, maybe 2-3 years ago? when people started actually mentioning they lived here? so now it suddenly feels overwhelming. I wanna connect and make local friends so I actually get out of the house instead of just when rlcs comes around but also don’t wanna be That Person and slide into someone’s DMs like “hey guess what i live here 2 do u wanna hang out” fhfjsdfsg
